Saturday February 23rd, 2PM: Women's Birth and Natural Health Fair

When/Cost: the date is Feb. 23, 2008 from 2-5pm for the public. The cost is $10-$20 sliding scale donation, pay at the door, no pre-registration.

Where: In the Event Center of Naropa's east Boulder campus - 63rd Ave. and Arapahoe (the NW corner of the intersection)

What is the "Birth and Natural Health" fair about: To raise money for IMA and connect women with natural health and birth providers. It will be a health fair, with tables for providers, so women/couples can meet providers and find out more about natural health and birth options. Care providers will include the following (and others): fertility specialists who use natural means; pre and post natal health care providers who use holistic methods and products to support the health and well-being of moms, babies, and the whole family - even for years to come after the birth; midwives for hospital and home births; doulas - birth doulas and post-natal doulas; teachers who teach the Bradley method and Birthing From Within and others; mother and infant massage and acupressure providers; and many other categories of women and family natural birth and health support (only reputable, certified or licensed providers will be there).

Who is it for: 100% of proceeds will go to International Midwife Assistance. They are a local group of Midwives and Nurses who have helped train midwives and have provided desperately needed health care to women and babies in Afghanistan, Uganda and are starting in Haiti. Join Dr. Kelly and guest speaker, Nancy Stubbs for a special presentation of 'FLOW and ease in Relationships.' Nancy is a life coach who helps people learn to expand beyond their perceived boundaries and conditions to bring forth their essence and true person. Dr. Kelly will be speaking about FLOW and giving a demo.

About Nancy: Nancy Stubbs is best known for her big heart, high energy, and enthusiastic approach to life, work, spirit and relationships! She is a Graduate Apprentice of the Hendricks Institute where she has studied and worked with Drs. Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks for nearly 6 years. As a Certified Relationship and Body/Mind Vibrance Coach, she has taught workshops and coached clients throughout the U.S. and Sweden. With over 19 years coaching, human resources and professional meeting facilitation experience with large and small corporations alike, she is an engaging facilitator, trainer and certified coach who shares her experiences and knowledge with a vibrancy that invites learning and participation regardless of whether she is working one-on-one or with a large audience. Learning to expand beyond our perceived boundaries and conditions to bring forth more of who we are at our essence is the primary focus of Nancy's coaching vision.
In addition to owning her own coaching practice, Nancy is also the Managing Director for the Boulder Chapter of eWomenNetwork, and is an active volunteer in her community.

For the fist time ever, athletes and volunteers at the Disabled World Cup in Aspen had the opportunity to experience FLOW by Dr. Kelly!

The visually challenged skiers at Challenge Aspen also received a touch of FLOW!
